Job Title : Area Sales Manager
Location : Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales professional – New Logo Acquisition with an impressive track record to join the sales team at Trimble AECO India.
This role requires the incumbent to grow the new logo business and customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain good client and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with sales management on the sales plans and drive to meet the sales quotas that contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic goals and objectives
- Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute the sales goals for the region
- Maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate goal
- Effectively forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Initiate and innovate marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Suggest new services / products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers and other cross-functional groups such as Marketing, Lead Generation, Presales etc.
- Attend trade shows and conventions as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in sales, with a focus on adding new accounts and maintaining successful customer relationshipsExpertise in working with Software as a Service (SaaS) products specifically tailored to the construction industryDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeStrong business senseBusiness acumen in the software and subscription environments is preferredPossess excellent phone and email customer communication skillsA bachelor's degree in engineering (mandatory) and MBA in Sales and Marketing (preferred)Skills Required
