DESCRIPTION :

The Infrastructure Standards team plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining deployment standards, best practices, and automation frameworks that are used by thousands of engineers worldwide. We blend technical expertise with real-world operational experience to build robust, repeatable, and secure deployment patterns that accelerate our business capabilities while maintaining operational excellence.

As an Infrastructure Standards Engineer, you will :

  • Design and develop standardized deployment patterns and frameworks for global infrastructure implementations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and guidance for deployment teams worldwide
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to understand their deployment needs and challenges
  • Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes and methodologies
  • Provide technical consultation and support to deployment teams adopting new standards
  • Partner with security, compliance, and operations teams to ensure standards meet all requirements The ideal candidate will bring :

Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation frameworks Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to influence and drive technical decisions across multiple teams Strong communication skills and ability to create clear technical documentation Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern deployment technologies You should be comfortable with ambiguity and excited about solving complex technical challenges at scale. You'll work closely with teams across different time zones and cultures, requiring excellent collaboration skills and flexibility in working hours when needed.

Key job responsibilities

1. Network Design & Implementation

Design and implement network infrastructure solutions

Create and maintain network architecture diagrams

Ensure network redundancy and high availability

2. Performance Management

Monitor network performance and capacity

Conduct network performance analysis and optimization

3. Operations & Maintenance

Troubleshoot network issues and outages

Perform routine network maintenance and updates

Manage network hardware lifecycle

Configure and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, load balancers)

4. Documentation & Standards

Create and maintain network documentation

Develop standard operating procedures

Define network deployment standards

Document network changes and configurations

5. Collaboration & Support

Work with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects

Provide technical guidance to other teams

Participate in on-call rotation for network support

Support incident response and problem resolution

6. Compliance & Governance

Ensure network compliance with security policies

Maintain network inventory and asset management

Participate in audit preparations

Implement network-related compliance controls

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 6+ years of technical support experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience in technical support
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience in a Linux or Unix environment
  • Experience working with device technologies under development, familiarity with flashing firmware, basic device debugging and familiarity with reading / pulling device logs, or experience in development or technical support
  • 5+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and / or Perl experience
  • Experience working in a large-scale networking environment
  • 4+ years of network and operating system support experience, or Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
  • 4+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
