Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Atlassian JIRA, JIRA Service Management and Confluence platformsDesign and implement custom JIRA workflows, screens, schemes, custom fields and dashboardsDevelop Confluence spaces, templates, macros and knowledge management structures for teamsCollaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement JIRA configurations to meet Agile / Devops delivery modelsManage user permissions, groups, and roles with JIRA and ConfluencePerform regular system audits, clean-up, upgrades and security patchesIntegrate JIRA with third-party toolsDevelop and maintain documentation on configuration, processes, and best practicesProvide day-to-day support and training to users on JIRA and Confluence usage and capabilities.Generate reports and analytics using JIRA Query Language (JQL), filters, and dashboardsWork with IT and Security teams to ensure compliance and data integrity Required Skills andThe Profile
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field4-7 years of experience in JIRA administration in enterprise environments.Strong expertise in JIRA workflow configuration, automation rules (Automation for JIRA), and JIRA Service Management (JSM)Proficient in Confluence administration and integration with JIRAHands-on experience with scripting and automation using Groovy (Script Runner), REST APIs, or similar toolsGood understanding of Agile and ITIL frameworksExperience in user onboarding, access control and group managementStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience with Atlassian Marketplace plugins and licensing management. Preferred QualificationsAtlassian Certification (ACP-610 / 620 / 1000) is a plusExperience with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center migrationsFamiliarity with other Atlassian tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, and TrelloBasic knowledge of Linux and Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for backend support.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environmentStrong organizational and documentation skillsCustomer-focused and proactive in identifying and solving issues.The Employer
