About the Role :
We are looking for a Delivery Lead with a strong technical foundation and proven experience in scaling teams and accounts, particularly in data modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate has grown through the ranks from developer to leadership, has worked with Snowflake and Databricks, and has led modernization efforts from legacy platforms like Teradata to modern cloud-based data ecosystems. A background in Financial Services or Insurance is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
Delivery & Program Management :
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data transformation programs.
- Manage multiple workstreams across geographies, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
- Drive agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Client & Account Management :
Own client relationships at senior technical and business levels.Scale accounts by identifying new opportunities and aligning delivery with client goals.Handle escalations, governance, and stakeholder communication effectively.Team Leadership & Talent Management :
Build, mentor, and scale high-performing technical teams.Onboard new talent, manage performance, and foster a collaborative culture.Align team structure with evolving delivery needs and client expectations.Technical Oversight :
Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms.Lead modernization efforts from legacy systems (e.g., Teradata) to modern data platforms.Ensure best practices in data engineering, DevOps, and platform governance.Strategic Thinking & Innovation :
Bring a strong point of view on the future of Data & AI.Collaborate with clients on AI-readiness, data strategy, and innovation roadmaps.Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.Required Skills & Experience :
15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in delivery leadership roles.Hands-on background in software / data engineering, having grown through technical ranks.Proven experience in managing and scaling large accounts and delivery teams.Strong expertise in Snowflake and Databricks (must have worked on both).Experience in modernizing legacy data estates (e.g., Teradata, Netezza).Domain experience in Financial Services or Insurance.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in high-pressure, commercially driven environments.Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Exposure to AI / ML use cases and data science workflows.Experience working with global teams and clients across time zones.Soft Skills :
