Brief
Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting one of Acuity’s Financial Asset Management / Private Equity clients on business development tasks. The person will closely interact with the Investment Management Company Team / Private Equity Fund Team of the client and be involved in project deliverables that would include RFPs / RFIs / DDQs, internal repositories, proposal management tools (Qvidian / PMAPS / RFPIO), consultant databases, and other ad-hoc requests.
Duties
Duties would include the following :
- Draft RFPs / RFIs / DDQs
- Source / draft content with information available and / or by collaborating with various subject matter experts within the client team
- Language maintenance on internally maintained repository and / or content management tools (PMAPS / Qvidian / RFPIO) by updating the tools with accurate information
- Work on fund raising support, marketing presentations, client reports, lead generation etc.
- Coordinate with client internal and external teams to ensure flawless and timely execution of projects
- Stay abreast of developments in terms of changes in client’s internal structure, staffing, product performance and competitive strengths
- Update and manage consultant databases
- Ability to work on several tasks while adhering to deadlines
Required Background
Strong analytical and writing skills - knowledge of RFPs / RFIs / DDQs creationExisting knowledge within Private Equity space and interest in financial asset management industry and familiarity with industry jargonStrong understanding of consultant databasesStrong communication (written / verbal) and client engaging skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to develop and maintain lasting relationships with senior professionals; good interpersonal skills; goal-oriented.Ability to be a team player and contribute to the development of the teamStrong work ethics, commitment to excel and proven ability to work with minimum supervisionPrevious experience in a similar role will be an added advantageBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business management
