iSteer - Java Developer - Spring Boot / AWS

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable microservices-based architectures while integrating seamlessly with AWS-native Responsibilities :

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications using AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.)
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI / CD pipeline automation and deployment strategies on AWS.
• Write unit / integration tests, debug and monitor applications in production.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for code quality and Skills :
• Strong core Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS / SQS, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on experience with Maven / Gradle, Git, JIRA, Jenkins.
• Understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like ECS / EKS is a plus
