Job description

Are you passionate about building scalable backend systems and eager to launch your career in web development?

PearlThoughts is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Backend Developer Interns to join our growing remote team. This internship is perfect for freshers and early-stage developers (0–6 months of experience) looking to gain hands-on exposure to real-world projects and professional mentorship.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining server-side applications.
  • Work with APIs, databases, and backend logic for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and DevOps teams to build seamless solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team discussions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend components.

🛠️ Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of any backend programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby on Rails).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git / GitHub).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
  • 0–6 months of hands-on coding or project experience.
  • Genuine interest in backend development and modern web technologies.

  • Location : 100% Remote
  • Duration : 1 Month (Unpaid for the first month)
