About the Role

Alpha Variance Solutions is hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Technical Architect or Senior Consultant to join our growing Bangalore team. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable commerce solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for some of our most exciting clients across industries including retail, hospitality, and nonprofits.

You’ll work alongside global teams to shape technical architecture, guide implementations, and ensure seamless integration between Commerce and other Dynamics 365 modules—including the front-end

Commerce Shop (CShop)

experience.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce

Lead technical design sessions, develop proof of concepts, and deliver high-quality code using Commerce SDK

Customize POS, CPOS, and eCommerce (CShop) experiences to meet business requirements

Build, configure, and maintain

Commerce Shop front-end (CShop)

including branding, navigation, and component extensions

Integrate Commerce with D365 Finance & Operations modules (inventory, pricing, order fulfillment, etc.)

Collaborate with functional and technical teams across time zones (EU, US, APAC)

Maintain best practices for code quality, performance, and security

Guide junior developers and participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives

Required Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail

Proven experience with Commerce SDK, Retail Server, POS customization, and channel integrations

Direct experience developing and maintaining

Commerce Shop (CShop) , including layout, content, and site builder configuration

Familiarity with React-based architecture of CShop and ability to implement custom modules

Experience with Azure DevOps, LCS, and source control tools

Strong understanding of F&O integration scenarios and omnichannel commerce workflows

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Microsoft certifications in Commerce or Solution Architecture preferred
