Senior Backend Engineer

What You’ll Do :

  • Own & Build : Lead the design, development, and deployment of core backend services. You’ll own features from the whiteboard sketch to the running production code.
  • Write Excellent Code : Craft clean, scalable, and high-performance APIs and services using Python (Flask).
  • Deploy & Scale : Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
  • Solve Hard Problems : Dive into complex workflows, tackle non-trivial technical challenges, and contribute to key architectural decisions.
  • Lead the project end to end : You will be the single point of contact for engineering to drive the project from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Experience : 2-4 years as a backend developer, with a track record of shipping software.
  • Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in Python and significant hands-on experience building production APIs with Flask / FastAPI.
  • DevOps Mindset : Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes. You believe in automating your own deployments.
  • Strong Fundamentals : A solid grasp of system design, databases, and core computer science principles.
  • A Startup Mentality : You are a proactive problem-solver who thrives on independence and ownership. You are here to build, not just to be told what to do.
