GCP Data Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented GCP Data Engineer to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially with BigQuery and Airflow, alongside strong SQL and Python skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in solving problems independently, communicates effectively, and delivers reliable data solutions.

As a GCP Data Engineer, your responsibilities include :

Technical Requirements Gathering and Development of Functional Specifications.

Analysis on Various Development Alternatives for Applications, Information Systems, and Modules.

Code Development in the Area of Data Management – Cloud, Data Integration, Analytics & Reporting.

Supporting Junior Developers and providing Team Leadership / Mentorship.

Supporting the Presales Team – Technical Whitepapers, Solutions Review.

Working with Agile multicultural teams in Asia, the EU, Canada, and the USA.

Profile Requirements

For this position of GCP Data Engineer, we are looking for someone with :

(Required) Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in GCP, especially BigQuery and DataProc.

(Required) Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark.

(Optional) Experience with SSRS is a plus.

(Required) Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams.

(Required) Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.

(Required) Experience in full-lifecycle data engineering projects on GCP.
