General Description
Under general direction, the Product Training Specialist II is responsible for delivering engaging and effective product training for travel agents and other external customers. This role plays a key part in ensuring users are proficient in Sabre products and able to apply their knowledge successfully in real-world scenarios.
The position is part of a global training team, requiring frequent interaction and collaboration with colleagues across regions. The specialist must work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, and actively contribute to team goals while maintaining alignment with global standards and practices.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual / onsite instructor-led sessions on Sabre products, tools, and solutions to external customers.
- Facilitate interactive learning experiences that help participants apply knowledge to practical situations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define course specifications, objectives, and required outcomes.
- Maintain and update training materials to ensure content accuracy, quality, and consistency across regions.
- Contribute to the development of eLearning and computer-assisted training resources.
- Evaluate participant progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to ensure training programs meet evolving business and customer needs.
- Manage multiple training projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Actively share best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives within the global training organization.
Qualifications
Education & Experience :
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Sabre system functionalities (required).Experience delivering training sessions or facilitating learning is preferred.Previous experience in the travel or airline industry is an asset.Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a global, cross-regional team environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Webex).Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural setting.Languages
