Job descriptionProven experience as a WordPress developer (3+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience building and customizing themes and plugins . Familiarity with page builders like Elementor , Gutenberg , or similar. Comfortable working with Figma or other design tools to translate UI into code. Experience with version control systems like Git . Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. Familiarity with headless WordPress or integration with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js). Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization. Exposure to frontend engineering Revamping our WordPress-based internal websites and blogs. Developing reusable themes and templates for multiple properties. Creating lightweight, secure WordPress plugins tailored to content pricing.
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and creative Freelance WordPress Developer to support our team in building, customizing, and enhancing our WordPress-based websites. You’ll play a key role in revamping website designs , building custom themes , and developing WordPress plugins to support user-facing functionality
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern, responsive WordPress websites.
- Revamp and enhance existing WordPress site layouts and styling.
- Build and maintain custom WordPress themes (from scratch or using builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.).
- Develop custom WordPress plugins to extend site functionality and integrate with third-party services or APIs.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with design, content, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on WordPress best practices and emerging trends.
