About the Opportunity : Our client, a leading full-service law firm in India, is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join their Employment Law practice . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Indian labour and employment laws, strong client advisory skills, and the ability to lead high-impact mandates across sectors.This is a high-visibility role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, advisory-heavy environment, and is ready to take the lead on complex employment law matters including compliance, advisory, investigations, and contentious issues.Key Responsibilities : Advise domestic and multinational clients on a wide range of employment and labour law issues including : Employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination mattersIndustrial disputes, disciplinary proceedings, and employee misconductPOSH compliance and internal investigationsLabour law audits and due diligence for M&A transactionsWorkforce structuring, transfers, and retrenchment strategyRepresent clients before labour authorities, tribunals, and other forums as necessaryDraft and negotiate employment-related documentation and settlement agreementsStay abreast of developments in Indian employment law and contribute to knowledge management initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate, and compliance teamsSupervise and mentor junior associates in the practiceCandidate Profile : LL.B. from a reputed Indian law school2-4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal departmentStrong command of Indian labour laws, industrial regulations, and case law developmentsExcellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skillsExperience in handling sensitive investigations and employment litigation preferredBusiness-oriented mindset with excellent client-handling skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments independently and under deadlinesTeam player with a collaborative working styleWhat’s on Offer : Opportunity to work with a top-tier law firm with a reputed Employment Law practiceHigh-value mandates and exposure to top domestic and international clientsCompetitive compensation and clear career progression pathDynamic work culture that encourages professional growth and innovation
