- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth at a pan-India level
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients in the utility space in the renewable energy domain
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and sales reports
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Provide insights and feedback to enhance product offerings and market strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Lead - Business Development should have :
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in sales and business development with utility sector clients in the renewable energy domain
- Atleast 12+ years of experience in the renewable energy domain with an experience of working with IPPs
- Strong experience in managing FDRE, RTC and Peak Power Tenders. Candidates should also have an exposure to BESS projects
- Should have an experience of managing relationships with grid operators and liaison with state and central govt agencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A solid understanding of market trends and client needs at a pan-India level
- Experience in building and managing client relationships effectively
