Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager (Govt Sales) located in Mumbai. The key responsibilities include identifying and acquiring government clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships, preparing and delivering presentations, and coordinating with internal teams to customize solutions to client needs. The role also involves generating leads, negotiating contracts, and achieving targets while ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new government clients and projects to expand business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government departments and officials.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and presentations to government stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
  • Handle official documentation, follow-ups, and negotiations professionally.
  • Monitor market trends and government policies to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to support government sales initiatives.

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in government sales, preferably in IT or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle official documentation and follow-up professionally.
  • Multitasking and managing communications across multiple stakeholders.
  • Liaison skills between the organization and government departments.
