The Opportunity

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill backend gig.

As a Backend Python Developer at JuiceLabs, you’ll do much more than write APIs—you’ll help shape new products from zero to one, often with AI at the core. You’ll work directly with our Cofounder / CTO and be trusted with real ownership : building scalable systems, exploring new AI tools, and rapidly prototyping ideas that can turn into breakthrough features.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on both solid software engineering and creative experimentation. If you're the kind of developer who ships fast, loves clean architecture, and gets excited about building with LLMs or automating workflows using GenAI tools—this role was made for you.

What You’ll Do

• Build Core Infrastructure : Design and implement reliable backend systems in Python (FastAPI, GCP / AWS, Postgres), with a focus on scalability, performance, and developer ergonomics.
• Experiment with AI : Use GenAI tools, APIs, and frameworks to prototype and integrate intelligent features—from simple automations to complex workflows, from image / video generation to agents.
• Own What You Ship : Take projects end-to-end—from ideation and design to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Work Closely with Leadership : Partner with the CTO to co-create product experiences that fuse backend muscle with AI magic.
• Bring Ideas to Life : Help turn wild ideas into working prototypes, and prototypes into production. You’re not just building what's asked—you’re helping invent what comes next.
