We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Video Editor with a strong focus on advertising and performance-driven video content . This role is ideal for someone who understands how to edit for attention, retention, and conversion , and can consistently deliver high-performing creatives across paid media platforms. You will play a key role in shaping ad creatives, testing new formats, and scaling winning concepts.
Key Responsibilities
🎯 Ad-Focused Editing & Creative Strategy
- Edit short-form ad creatives for paid platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)
- Cut long-form footage into high-converting ad variations
- Develop strong hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
- Create multiple ad iterations for A/B testing (hooks, CTAs, pacing, visuals)
- Translate creative briefs and performance insights into compelling ad edits
📈 Performance Optimization
- Edit videos optimized for CTR, watch time, CPA, and ROAS
- Collaborate with growth and media buying teams to iterate on creatives
- Analyze ad performance and apply learnings to future edits
- Refresh creatives to avoid ad fatigue
- Adapt winning concepts across products, audiences, and platforms
🎨 Post-Production Excellence
- Advanced editing, pacing, and storytelling for ads
- Color correction, audio cleanup, captions, subtitles, and overlays
- Add motion graphics, text animations, UI elements, and product callouts
- Maintain brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries
📱 Platform-Specific Execution
- Deliver ads in multiple formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
- Follow platform best practices for paid media
- Stay up to date with ad trends, formats, and creator-style content
- Optimize UGC-style, founder-led, testimonial, and product demo ads
🤝 Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead ad post-production workflows
- Review and improve edits from junior editors
- Work closely with performance marketers, designers, and copywriters
- Help define ad creative standards, templates, and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio of paid ad creatives with proven performance
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics tools
- Deep understanding of performance marketing and creative testing
- Ability to work fast in high-volume ad production environments
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skill
