Banner Developer
JOB PURPOSE
The Banner Developer is responsible for completing banner developing tasks and providing support to motion applications. The Banner developer is able to work independently in basic tasks, assuming ownership for the design and programming required. For more complex work, this individual will rely on existing designs and seek guidance from more senior positions. The individual should also be able to provide reasonable estimates for his tasks.
A banner developer works with banner applications and a variety of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Create Banners Ad using JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- Propose solutions and provide estimations on projects
- Work with the design team, tech leads and PMs
- Develop mobile-compatible advertisements and banners
- Coach and support junior developers in fulfill their tasks and improving their skills
- Ensure that implementation matches the design, including syncing
- Implement HTML5 banners using CSS3, SVG and DOM
- Customize HTML, CSS, and JS code generated by various tools (eg. Adobe Animate, Google web designer, etc.)
- Optimize HTML, CSS, and JS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size
- Ensure browser compatibility
- Willing to work overtime and research online marketing resolutions
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 2+ years of experience working on professional web design using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScriptProficient in HTML / XHTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and performance optimizationAbility to work with IDEs (Sublime Text is required)Strong experience and background in JavaScript are requiredExperience with at least one JavaScript framework is requiredStrong background in HTML5 / CSS3.Familiar with OLA (Online Advertised) standards.Experience implementing banner templates.Independent, responsible, and proactive with the ability to learn and achieve superior results.GOOD TO HAVE
Ability to work with Adobe AnimateKnowledge of pre-processed CSS styling (SASS, LESS).knowledge in timeline animation tools.Knowledge using repositories (eg. GitHub or Bitbucket) is a strong plus.Knowledge in W3C Standards (or able to learn quickly about them).Knowledge and experience in graphic design for web, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a strong plus.LANGUAGES
Desirable English Proficiency (B1 reading, writing, and conversation).
