Paydoh is a Gen Z-focused digital banking platform on a mission to revolutionize Genz's finance in India. We aim to empower millions of young people with savings, payments, and rewards — blending banking with viral, gamified engagement. As we gear up for our first fundraising round, we're seeking a driven Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager to help us connect with the right investors, craft compelling narratives, and secure capital to scale our vision.
Role Overview
You will be the bridge between Paydoh and the investment community — building relationships with venture capitalists, angel investors, family offices, and strategic partners. You'll work closely with the founders to prepare fundraising materials, identify prospective investors, manage due diligence, and keep stakeholders engaged throughout the investment process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution
i) Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential investors (VCs, angels, strategic partners).
ii) Research and shortlist investors aligned with Paydoh's sector, stage, and vision.
iii) Schedule and manage investor meetings, roadshows, and networking events.
2. Investor Communication & Pitching
i) Prepare pitch decks, financial models, and one-pagers tailored for different investor audiences.
ii) Craft compelling investment narratives that highlight Paydoh's market opportunity, traction, and growth potential.
iii) Represent Paydoh in investor calls, events, and accelerators alongside founders.
3. Due Diligence & Documentation
i) Coordinate investor due diligence processes — data room preparation, document collation, and Q&A.
ii) Liaise with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth term sheet and investment agreement execution.
4. Market Intelligence
i) Track fintech, banking, and Gen Z financial trends to position Paydoh competitively.
ii) Provide founders with updates on investor sentiment and competitor funding rounds.
Key Skills & Competencies
i) Strong understanding of fundraising, venture capital, and startup financing.
ii) Exceptional communication and networking skills.
iii) Ability to create investor-ready presentations and financial models.
iv) Self-starter with high energy and a bias for action in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications & Experience
i) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA / CFA a plus).
ii) 2–7 years in fundraising, investor relations, venture capital, investment banking, or startup growth roles.
iii) Prior experience in fintech or consumer tech is an advantage.
