Overview :
The Director - FP&A will play a significant role in ensuring the group achieves its financial objectives. This is a finance role with a high degree of visibility with senior stakeholders, including the CEO as well as the investor community.
Key responsibilities of the Role :
Drive long term planning exercise including preparing of the 5-year Business Plan
Run the full budgeting process of the company globally including P&Ls of various lines of business etc.
Ensure budgetary control through monthly reviews
Propose and drive revenue, margin or cost improvement initiatives along with functional and business heads
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly MIS to investors, lenders, management and other stakeholders
Support in fund raising exercises including commercial diligences along with the Corporate Development team
Lead improvement of organizational process and champion FP&A as one version of truth
Coordinate, analyze and report FP&A results for acquired companies and streamline their financial reporting
Clearly communicating the findings from the analysis to turn information into something actionable through reports, dashboards, and / or presentations.
Propose initiatives based on analysis and coordinate cross-functional teams to develop business segment strategies, execute key value creation (top and bottom line), and manage transformation initiatives
Drive discussions with product owners and / or business partners to understand the process, the problem, and then brainstorm solution scenarios.
Run special projects, e.g. valuation exercises, purchase price allocations, etc.
Implement system and processes to streamline group and LOB-level reporting
Lead a high-performance FP&A team
Qualifications :
12+ years of full time FP&A experience
Deep knowledge of the finance and accounting, especially Corporate Finance
Experience working with state-of-the-art analytic tools on real-world problems, preferably in consumer internet domain
Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Bachelors in commerce or engineering
Masters in finance / MBA / CA Preferred
