Job Title : AI Developer (TypeScript / Python)

Experience : 4+ years

Location : Mumbai preferred / Remote

Availability : Immediate to 15 days

We are looking for an experienced AI Developer with expertise in TypeScript and Python to join our dedicated AI squad. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and conversational AI features into our TypeScript-based products.

You'll collaborate closely with product teams to deliver intelligent solutions such as chatbots and knowledge retrieval systems.

This role prioritizes TypeScript for application development and integration, with Python as a strong complement for model training and data preprocessing.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement RAG systems to retrieve and generate contextually relevant responses using TypeScript and Node.js.
Develop conversational AI features such as chatbots and virtual assistants for web and mobile applications.
Build and maintain TypeScript-based APIs (REST / GraphQL) to expose AI functionality to product teams.
Integrate with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) and cloud-based AI services (e.g., Hugging Face, AWS Bedrock).
Utilize libraries such as TensorFlow.js or ONNX.js for client-side or server-side AI inference.
Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate pre-trained models or embeddings into TypeScript applications, using Python for training or preprocessing where required.
Work with product teams to embed AI capabilities into React-based front-ends or Node.js back-ends.
Optimize AI features for performance, scalability, and usability within the TypeScript ecosystem.
Contribute to building reusable TypeScript components and SDKs to streamline AI integration across products.

What Were Looking For :

Required Skills & Experience :

4+ years of professional software development experience using TypeScript and JavaScript.

Solid understanding of AI / ML concepts, particularly NLP, chatbots, or RAG systems.

Strong proficiency in :

TypeScript, Node.js

Front-end frameworks like React or Next.js

AI libraries such as TensorFlow.js, ONNX.js

Building and consuming REST / GraphQL APIs

Integrating with cloud-based AI services (e.g., Hugging Face, AWS Bedrock)

Working with vector databases or vector search tools (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate)

Python Experience (Strong Plus)

Experience with Python for model training, fine-tuning, or embedding generation using :

Hugging Face Transformers

SentenceTransformers

PyTorch

Soft Skills

Strong collaboration skills to work across teams on integrating AI models.

Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalable, maintainable solutions.

Nice to Have :

Experience with conversational AI frameworks (e.g., Botpress, Rasa) or RAG pipelines (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).

Familiarity with model export to ONNX or TensorFlow.js formats.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) for AI / ML deployment.
