The US Onboarding Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. The role involves coordinating pre-hire and post-hire activities, managing compliance requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates during pre-hire and onboarding stages.
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding processes, including pre-boarding, first-day logistics, and orientation.
- Select appropriate background check and drug test packages based on job code, location, and other requirements.
- Review and verify background check and drug test results and provide clearance.
- Schedule start dates and select suitable onboarding events in My Learning.
- Update candidate profiles in Workday Ready for Hire.
- Send Day 1 emails to candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters with instructions regarding reporting, badging, I-9 completion, and orientation schedules.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Advisors, Hiring Managers, and business units to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain accurate onboarding records, checklists, trackers, and reports in HR systems.
- Support global and regional onboarding programs and initiatives as applicable.
