Job Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic Online Market Research Specialist who combines strong business acumen with technical expertise to lead and execute online research initiatives. You will design research studies, manage online panels, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights that drive business strategy. This role requires a hands-on approach to both the methodology and technology of market research.

Key Responsibilities :

Business & Research Strategy :

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define research objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Design and implement online market research studies including surveys, consumer panels, and competitor analysis.
  • Segment and profile target audiences to ensure representative sampling and relevant insights.
  • Interpret research findings to generate strategic recommendations for marketing, product development, and sales teams.

Technical & Data Management :

  • Manage and optimize online survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Cint) to collect accurate data.
  • Build and maintain online research panels, using digital recruitment strategies and CRM tools.
  • Use data cleaning, validation, and analysis techniques to ensure high-quality data.
  • Apply quantitative analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, R, Python) and visualization software (Tableau, Power BI) to analyze survey data and produce dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate market research data with business intelligence systems via APIs and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical research standards.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in online market research, data collection, and panel management.
  • Proficiency with survey platforms and data analysis tools (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, SPSS, Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies and statistical techniques.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and database management.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical research practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate data insights into business strategies.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and online recruitment strategies.
  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge for automation and data manipulation.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with IT, marketing, and product departments.
