Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Drive sales targets for the West region in line with company goals.
- Develop and execute regional sales plans, channel strategies, and trade promotions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Channel & Distribution Management
- Manage and expand distribution network across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners.
- Ensure optimum inventory planning, stock rotation, and timely collections.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and Sales Executives.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure sales discipline, reporting, and adherence to company policies.
- Business Development
- Open new channels (multi-brand outlets, large format stores, e-commerce partnerships).
- Drive appliance category placement in key regional markets.
- Develop strong relationships with architects, builders, and institutional clients.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Track and analyze sales data, productivity, and ROI on promotions.
- Submit periodic MIS reports to senior management.
- Provide inputs for demand forecasting and product feedback.
Requirements
Key Requirements
Graduate / MBA preferred (Marketing / Sales specialization).15–20 years of sales experience in consumer durables / appliances / FMCG with at least 3–5 years in a regional leadership role.Strong understanding of channel & distribution management in the Western region.Proven track record of delivering sales targets and managing large teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
