Job description

Description : Job Purpose

  • The role is primarily responsible for guiding the team members (Analysts, Senior Analysts) for assessing credit worthiness of companies through analyzing financial statements and preparing ratings reports in the infrastructure sector.
  • The role provides subject matter expertise to the team and is responsible for end-to-end supervision of the team for rating and research assignments
  • Contributing to Research / Thematics / Webinar / Outreach activities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality credit analysis and ratings
  • Functional Responsibilities :

  • Analyzing financial statements, performance and trend analysis for assessing the creditworthiness of the company
  • Independently handling rating assignments for entities of varying sizes and preparing reports and rationale for the assigned ratings
  • Preparing rating report by including profile of the rated company, key rating considerations, credit risk assessment, ratio analysis like proficiency, turnover & solvency, financial projection / modelling, operational & industry analysis
  • Adhering to standard operating procedure & policies
  • Conducting research on the industry in which the company is operating and keeping a track on the performance of the industry as a whole
  • Analyzing the business model, identifying strengths, weakness, risks, understanding the revenue models and the corporate structure of the businesses
  • Ensuring quality check of the work deliverables
  • Assist senior analysts in areas related to credit evaluation and monitoring
  • Providing guidance to peers
  • Job Preferably a CA, or an MBA with experience in large corporate analysis

    Experience 8-10 years' experience of analyzing entities
