GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role is essential for installing, configuring, and supporting our LAN, WAN, and internet systems , ensuring robust network performance, availability, and security for our critical operations.

Role & Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network performance , availability, and security using network monitoring tools.
• Maintain and administer routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices.
• Implement and manage network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection / prevention systems.
• Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
• Manage IP address allocation , DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations.
• Work with service providers for leased lines, MPLS, broadband, or fiber link issues.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Plan and implement network upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Support disaster recovery planning and implementation related to networking.
• Respond to network-related alerts, incidents, and service requests.
