Técnicas Reunidas invites applications for the position of Package and Solid Handling Equipment Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the specification, selection, and comprehensive technical management of solid handling and package unit equipment, with strict adherence to technical, QA / QC, and HSE requirements through all project phases.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the review and preparation of technical tender and project documentation for solid handling and package units.
- Evaluate vendor submissions and conduct detailed technical assessments.
- Collaborate with procurement to support equipment cost evaluations and ensure cost-effective selections.
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams, supporting review meetings, 3D model assessments, and P&ID evaluations.
- Oversee vendor documentation, including review and final approval, and facilitate inter-discipline integration.
- Provide expertise during expediting and testing, ensuring all deliverables meet client requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster ongoing technical development within the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering.Proficiency in international engineering standards relevant to solid handling and package unit equipment.Strong organizational and analytical skills, coupled with advanced technical writing ability.Demonstrated initiative, integrity, results orientation, and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.Dedication to continuous learning and technical knowledge transfer across the organization.Equipment Scope Includes
Desalter, filtration, water / wastewater treatment, pelletiser, vacuum systems, extruders, loading arms, and gas dryers.Solid handling : belt / screw / pneumatic conveyors, elevators, cranes / hoists, bagging, grinders, screens, separators, centrifuges, dust collection systems, silos, bins, scrapers, and related equipment.Why Join Técnicas Reunidas?
