Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and test scripts for mobile applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Appium for mobile test automation and proficiency in Python for script development, along with a solid foundation in Selenium.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust mobile test automation frameworks using Appium and Python.
Create, execute, and analyze automated test scripts for native, hybrid, and web mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android).
Utilize Appium for interacting with mobile elements, handling gestures, and performing complex test scenarios.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code for automation scripts, test data generation, and utility functions.
Leverage Selenium for web automation components where applicable, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.
Collaborate closely with development, manual QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure testability of features.
Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in test planning, strategy development, and estimation for mobile automation efforts.
Conduct code reviews for automation scripts to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug complex automation script failures and environment issues.
Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in mobile automation, Appium, and Python.

Mandatory Skills :

7 - 10 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.

Strong hands-on experience with Appium test automation for both Android and iOS platforms.

Expert-level proficiency in Python for writing automation scripts and framework development.

Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.

Proven experience in designing and implementing mobile test automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing ones.

In-depth understanding of mobile application testing challenges and strategies.

Experience with various mobile device emulators, simulators, and real devices.

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug complex issues in mobile automation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
