JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 49 years of hands-on experience in building, automating, and managing scalable infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, automation tools, and monitoring systems, along with a problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking resources, using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience in cloud engineering, preferably using public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines using modern DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub .
- Experience with modern DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Automate software configuration and deployment using infrastructure as code tools such as
Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet .
Develop and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.Design, implement, and maintain our CDN infrastructure using Akamai CDN.Monitor and analyse system and application performance metrics, troubleshoot, and resolveissues, and optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operation, to integrate DevOps practices into our software development lifecycle.Implement and maintain security measures to protect our software development pipelineand infrastructure against cyber threats, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect against DDoS attacks, web application attacks, and other threats.Research and evaluate new DevOps tools and technologies to stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials for DevOps processes and practices.REQUIREMENTS :
Experience with Linux-based servers, networks, and storage systems.Strong understanding of web and application performance optimization techniques, including caching, compression, and image optimization.Solid understanding of TCP / IP networking, DNS, HTTP, and other web protocols.Experience with CDN security measures, including DDoS protection and web application firewalls.Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure as code, automation, and containerization.(ref : hirist.tech)
