Job description

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Community Engagement Associate to help build, nurture, and grow our educator and learner community. The role involves creating meaningful engagement experiences, facilitating conversations, and driving participation across both online and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strong relationships within the CENTA community.
  • Plan and execute engagement initiatives such as webinars, contests, discussions, and recognition campaigns.
  • Moderate and grow community platforms (WhatsApp, social media platforms, in-app forums, etc.).
  • Identify active community members and convert them into ambassadors or champions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and partnerships teams to amplify campaigns.
  • Track and report community engagement metrics and share insights for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to community queries, feedback, and issues with empathy and accuracy.
  • Create and curate content (posts, polls, updates, stories) to maintain regular engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably communications, education, or marketing).
  • 2–4 years of experience in community management, engagement, or related roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable managing multiple channels and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic data understanding (Google Sheets / analytics dashboards) to measure engagement.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to initiate and execute campaigns independently.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with teacher communities.
  • Exposure to tools like HubSpot, Zoho, or community management platforms.
  • Understanding of social media trends and engagement strategies.
