Sr. Tech Writer, Dev Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Technical Writer, Developer Experience to join our team and build world-class technical documentation for APIs, developer tools, and SDKs.

This role requires deep expertise in technical writing, API documentation, and developer-focused content creation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and writing skills, a solid understanding of developer technologies, and experience using AI-driven tools to enhance documentation processes.

Meet our team :

The newly established Global Solutions Engineering organization will deliver products for Global Markets, including key strategic initiatives such as Digital Wallets, that will allow expansion of PayPal's footprint through intuitive experiences. This team will be responsible for building out platforms that will accelerate time to value across all PayPal markets.

Job Description : Your way to impact :

As a Sr. Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and developer relations teams to produce clear, concise, and highly usable documentation that enables developers to integrate and use our payment solutions seamlessly. Experience with payments systems is a strong value-add for this role.

Your day-to-day :

Build developer-friendly integration experiences :

• Develop clear, concise, and well-structured content that enhances the developer experience. Create and maintain API references, SDK documentation, developer guides, and integration tutorials.
• Work closely with engineers to understand APIs, endpoints, request / response structures, authentication, and error handling. Ensure that API documentation is developer-friendly, up to date, and aligned with industry standards.
