We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Subeditor to join our editorial team.

Role & Responsibilities :

Edit, write, and publish news and feature articles with accuracy, clarity, and speed.
Ensure all content is free from grammatical and factual errors.
Create engaging headlines and adhere to SEO and taxonomy guidelines.
Track, identify, and follow up on major news stories in international and domestic cricket.
Curate and manage Cricbuzz pages across the website and mobile apps.
Share and promote content effectively on social media in alignment with company policies.

Skill Requirements :

Strong command of written English and copywriting.

Deep knowledge of cricket – international, domestic, and T20 leagues.

Proven ability in newsgathering, subediting, and content curation.

Awareness of the latest trends and best practices across digital and social media.

Good to Have :

Experience using AI tools for content creation and editing.

Basic video editing skills for creating engaging social media clips.
