Job descriptionwebMethods (10.x) Development and debugging API Gateway / Developer Portal Configuration YAML, JSON, REST, SOAP, NoSQL Strong understanding of API design best practices Proficient in integration testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Familiar with tools like Postman, Jira, Azure DevOps Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) Strong grasp of SDLC methodologies (Agile / Waterfall) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and debug integration services using webMethods 10.x.
- Configure and manage APIs and policies within webMethods API Gateway and Developer Portal.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
- Define and manage API contracts using YAML, adhering to best practices.
- Integrate with backend systems such as SQL / NoSQL databases, SOAP / REST APIs, and messaging queues (MQ).
- Apply knowledge of integration architecture including API-led connectivity, synchronous / asynchronous messaging, Pub / Sub, and batch processing.
- Conduct thorough testing of APIs and services using tools like Postman.
- Utilize Jira, Azure DevOps, and version control tools for task tracking and collaboration.
- Ensure development follows industry best practices, with clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery across the SDLC in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) for deploying and managing integration services.
