Job description4–8 years experience in Machine Learning Strong Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) Deep learning frameworks : PyTorch or TensorFlow NLP : transformer-based models (HuggingFace, BERT family, XLM-R, Sentence Transformers) Embeddings + semantic similarity Vector search : FAISS / Pinecone / Qdrant Ranking algorithms (learning-to-rank, similarity scoring) Experience with geospatial data (distance filtering, clustering, geo-features) Hands-on experience deploying ML in production Experience building real systems (not academic-only) Experience with multilingual NLP Experience with ASR / voice pipelines Experience with recommendation systems Experience with model optimization for latency Basic DevOps knowledge (Docker, GPU workloads) Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS / AI / DS or equivalent experience Proven track record of delivering ML systems to production Ability to work independently Strong problem-solving + system design mindset Comfortable in early-stage startup environment
We are hiring an experienced Senior ML Engineer / Applied ML Lead who can :
- Build ML systems from scratch
- Own the ML architecture end-to-end
- Handle NLP, embeddings, and ranking models
- Work with geospatial data
- Deploy production-grade ML
- Guide and mentor junior ML engineers
This is a founding-level role with full ownership of ML at Zillwork.
