About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce SDET to join our Quality Engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce testing (manual and automated), a deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem features, and experience in building, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks.
You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases and seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing for Salesforce modules including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom Lightning components.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Provar, TestNG, Apex Unit Tests, and REST Assured.
- Execute API testing for Salesforce integrations (REST / SOAP APIs).
- Collaborate with developers to create and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing.
- Perform data validation and migration testing in Salesforce environments.
- Ensure defects are logged, tracked, and resolved using Jira or equivalent defect management tools.
- Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.
- Maintain test environments, sandbox refreshes, and data setup for test execution.
- Provide QA sign-off for production deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in QA testing, with at least 6+ years in Salesforce testing.Strong experience in manual testing of Salesforce applications and configurations.Proficiency in automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Provar, or similar tools.Hands-on experience in Apex testing frameworks and API automation (REST / SOAP).Understanding of Salesforce Lightning and Classic UI.Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile / Scrum methodologies.Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Good-to-Have Skills :
Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification(s).Experience with performance testing tools (e. , JMeter).Familiarity with Salesforce Shield, Einstein Analytics, or other advanced features.Knowledge of test data management and environment strategy in Salesforce.Education :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
