Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports or statements, and establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. The role also involves coordinating and completing annual audits, improving systems and procedures, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in handling statutory compliances such as GST returns, ESI, PF and salary processing
• Proficiency in accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
