Purchasing Manager

Role & Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, and other required supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct cost analysis, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts to achieve optimal cost efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of raw materials within the sector.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements related to procurement.
• Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with organizational goals.
• Maintain and optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers across South India and other key regions.
• Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and documentation for audits and management reviews.
