💼 EDI Analyst / EDI Developer

Location : Remote (Pune, India)

Company : Reputed Ecommerce Product-Based Organization

Are you an experienced EDI professional passionate about seamless integrations, high-volume data transactions, and driving digital connectivity across global retail networks?

Our client, a leading product-based eCommerce company , is seeking a skilled EDI Analyst / Developer to join their growing technology team. This is a remote opportunity offering a chance to work on enterprise-grade EDI solutions and partner integrations.

🚀 What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new EDI maps and workflows for multiple transaction types.
  • Oversee daily EDI operations , monitoring data flow and resolving transmission errors proactively.
  • Lead onboarding of new trading partners (retailers, 3PLs, vendors), including mapping, testing, and go-live.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for all EDI-related activities across internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define EDI requirements for new features.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for EDI maps, workflows, and trading partner specifications.
  • Translate business requirements into precise technical EDI specifications.
  • Ensure all integrations align with industry standards (X12, EDIFACT) and partner-specific requirements.
  • Optimize existing EDI integrations to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.

🧠 What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of experience as an EDI Analyst, EDI Developer , or in a similar integration-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of ANSI X12 standards and common transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 940, 945, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in mapping, configuring, and integrating EDI transactions at scale.
  • Experience integrating with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or backend systems for B2B and Dropship operations.
  • Knowledge of Order Management Systems (OMS) or eCommerce platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with EDI integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Sterling Integrator, SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving complex data and communication issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple partner onboardings and projects simultaneously.

    • 🌟 Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VANs).
  • Experience working with data formats like XML, JSON, and flat files.
  • Exposure to APIs (REST, SOAP) for system integrations.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for validation and data analysis.
  • Experience with Java or scripting languages (Python) is a plus.
