Job Description

We are seeking a

Solutions Architect

to design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure and cloud solutions (primarily Microsoft Azure & On-premise). The role involves translating business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with reference architecture, security, and compliance standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams, overseeing solution implementation and providing technical consultancy. Strong expertise in Azure, Office 365, networking, and identity management (Azure Entra ID) is essential.

Key Responsibilities-

Design and deliver

infrastructure and cloud-based solutions

aligned with company reference architecture and security standards.

Conduct

technical analysis, feasibility assessments, and cost estimates

for new and existing system requirements.

Provide

solutions consultancy

to business units during pre-project discussions and project delivery.

Support

Project Services and Operations teams

with technical expertise when required.

Collaborate with

Technical Architects

to develop and maintain the

Company Reference Architecture .

Engage and coordinate with

third-party suppliers

for technical requirements gathering and solution delivery.

Oversee

solution implementation , ensuring delivery aligns with approved design and business requirements.

Translate

business requirements into technical solutions , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Conduct

proof-of-concepts (PoCs)

and evaluations of emerging technologies to assess business fit.

Ensure all solutions are designed with

security, compliance, and regulatory requirements

in mind.

Create and maintain

solution design documentation , diagrams, and architectural standards.

Provide

governance and guidance

throughout project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to design principles.

Identify

risks and mitigation strategies

related to proposed solutions.

Act as a

technical advisor / SME

for infrastructure and cloud-related initiatives.

Work closely with

operations teams

to ensure smooth transition of solutions into production.

Drive

continuous improvement initiatives

in solution design, cost efficiency, and technology adoption.

Mentor and support junior team members in

technical design and architecture practices .

Qualifications-

Essential :

Proven experience in infrastructure solution design and cloud solution development.

Strong background in Wintel environments, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365.

Experience with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity management.

Demonstrated ability to produce technical proposals (designs, project trackers, costings).

Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and customer service orientation.

Experience managing complex solution designs across multiple systems and stakeholders.

Desirable : Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, IT, or related field , or equivalent certifications.

Enterprise-level experience in

solution architecture .

Understanding of

application architecture

(front-end, back-end, middleware).

Professional certifications (e.g.,

Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert , TOGAF, etc.).

Technical Skills-

Infrastructure Architecture : Compute, storage, networking (physical & virtual).

Networking : LAN / WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless technologies.

Cloud Platforms : Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Identity & Access Management : Microsoft Entra ID .

Operating Systems : Wintel environments (Windows Server, virtualization).

Solution Design Principles : Security, scalability, performance, cost optimization, maintainability.

Collaboration Tools : Office 365 suite (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).

Experience in

vendor management

and working with

third-party suppliers .
