Perp Trading Engineer

Job descriptionStrong backend engineering skills in Rust / Go / TypeScript / Node.js . Experience with Web3 development and understanding of smart contract interaction. Hands-on exposure to perp DEX APIs (Hyperliquid, Aster, dYdX, etc.). Knowledge of distributed infra (Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, validator ops). Familiarity with DeFi trading mechanics : order books, perpetuals, margin systems. Ability to ship quickly in fast-paced environments. Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT) systems . Contributions to open-source DeFi projects. Exposure to React / Next.js for frontend dashboards (bonus).

What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement low-latency integrations with perpetual DEX APIs (e.g., Hyperliquid, Aster, Drift, Jupiter).
- Build a unified liquidity layer for perps, enabling efficient routing and execution.
- Work on backend services for real-time trading, risk, and settlement systems .
- Collaborate with infra engineers to optimize performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Research, test, and deploy DeFi-native trading infrastructure with a focus on order books, perpetuals, and margin trading.
