Position : Senior Amdocs Migration Specialist

Experience : 10–15 years

Location : Bangalore, India (subject to change as per client project location and requirements)

About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned Amdocs Migration Specialist to lead end-to-end data and system migration initiatives within our telecom transformation program. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Amdocs systems, strong experience managing large-scale migrations, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure a seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage migration activities across multiple Amdocs environments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data
  • Define migration strategies, methodologies, and validation frameworks aligned with business and technical objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including billing, CRM, integration, and infrastructure teams for coordinated execution
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks during migration and propose mitigation strategies
  • Conduct data profiling, mapping, and reconciliation between source and target systems
  • Support post-migration validation, troubleshooting, and optimization activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of migration processes and tools

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Amdocs platform implementations and migrations
  • Proven track record in large-scale telecom data migrations , preferably within production-grade environments
  • Strong understanding of Amdocs data models, schema structures, and integration layers
  • Experience with ETL tools , migration automation, and validation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of telecom BSS / OSS architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead technical teams and work collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based migration or modernization initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to Amdocs CES , CRM, Ordering, or Billing systems
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps tools used in migration processes
