Production Support Engineer

Job descriptionStrong English language proficiency is must. Well versed with ITIL framework. (Incident, Change, Problem management Project tasks) Excellent hand on Linux experience (Ubuntu, Redhat) Cloud management and administration experience (AWS, Azure, CP, etc.) Proficient in devops / deployment tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Ticket tools experience Like Service Now, HP Service Manager Minimum of 3 years working experience in an IT organization where experience supporting production Cloudinfrastructure with hands on Linux experience (Redhat & Ubuntu). Must be knowledgeable of implementation work with proper documentation methodology. Eger to learn new concepts. Excellent understanding and working knowledge of applications running on Linux, Windows, Tomcat / Apache, JBoss, Networking skills including load balancers, firewalls,routers, switching Knowledge of modern service hosting, security, and risk management concerns such as IAM, access control, monitoring, IaaS / PaaS / SaaS, and containers. Infrastructure automation experience through DevOps scripting and configuration management (Ansible). Advanced Experience with public and private cloud services including AWS, VMware, RedHat OCP. Experience in creating, presentation, status reporting,technical diagrams and flowcharts. Have prepared detailed build / test plans to implementnew technologies and configurations. Good understanding of Information security concepts. Ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues. Self-reliant and able to drive results without supervision Proficient in scripting / deployment tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, (nice to have Perl, Visual Basic)

- Provide L2 & L3 level of support in 24x7 environment.
- Eyes on Glass for Mail & Ticket monitoring.
- Good customer service via emailing / chat / phone
- Follow Documented processes and procedures.
- Daily follow ups, proper update and positive closure of tickets.
- 100% Availability in the designated shift.
- Taking ownership of Critical, pending and unassigned work.
- Lead by example approach.
