Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and proactive NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Asterisk, VoIP, Linux systems, and networking, along with a strong understanding of SIP and telephony protocols.
This role requires a problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and a passion for optimizing system Responsibilities :
- Understand and maintain the architecture and integration of telephony services.
- Operate and expand SIP proxies (e.g., Kamailio / OpenSIPS).
- Design and implement feature enhancements in telephony platforms.
- Provide Level 3 technical support, including advanced troubleshooting and triage.
- Monitor telephony traffic for performance issues and anomalies.
- Respond promptly to system alerts to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Build and maintain QA, monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams on system maintenance and Skills :
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Asterisk, VoIP, and networking.
- Proficient in Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian.
- Strong understanding of TCP / IP, SIP, NAT, PAT, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with package management tools (e.g., yum, apt).
- Proficiency in scripting languages : Bash, Perl, PHP, Python.
- Experience working with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Familiarity with Asterisk AGI, AMI, ARI, and IPPBX / EPABX to Have Skills :
- Over 5 years of experience in a relevant telecom / VoIP domain.
- Hands-on experience with VoIP gateways / SBCs like OpenSIPS and Kamailio.
- Familiarity with telephony monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
- Understanding of call routing, rating, and billing systems.
- Knowledge of open-source telecom technologies and AI / ML applications.
- Experience developing and deploying custom PBX solutions
