Staff Acountant Payables

Job description

Duties / Responsibilities .

• The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include but are not limited to : .
• Reading and comprehending contracts, then utilizing accounting knowledge to record the related transactions.
• Fully owning the general ledger accounts within his / her responsibility and ensuring compliance with US GAAP; calculating and explaining variance analysis.
• Assisting with ad-hoc accounting projects, driving change and implementing enhanced processes.
• Assisting with inventory costing and routings and responsibility for change analysis related to costing.
• Assisting with development and maintenance of standard costs.
• Assisting with inventory analysis and inventory reserves.
• Performing ad-hoc accounting research, making recommendations for proper accounting treatment and documenting transactions.
