Job descriptionMaster's degree in English or a related field from a recognized university. 2-3 years of teaching experience in English at the college or university level. Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and linguistics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and use of technology in education.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures in English language and literature.
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate and assess student performance through examinations, projects, and presentations.
- Facilitate discussions and encourage student participation in class activities.
- Provide academic advising and support to students regarding their coursework and career paths.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities related to English language and literature.
