Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in IT Operations and Network Support. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1 / L2 support for network-related issues.
Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to LAN, WAN, firewalls, switches, and routers.
Assist in configuration, patching, and upgrades of network devices.
Escalate issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and processes.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security guidelines.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with network devices (switches, routers, firewalls).

Basic understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing protocols.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar).

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
