Role Overview :
The Domain Solution Architect Lead is responsible for driving the architectural vision, strategy, and standards across multiple business domains. This role ensures solution consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise-wide architecture goals while mentoring domain architects and fostering innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee domain solution architecture across multiple business domains.
- Define and maintain architectural strategy, principles, frameworks, and standards.
- Provide architectural leadership and guidance to domain and solution architects.
- Ensure alignment between domain architectures and enterprise architecture strategy.
- Develop and maintain domain-level architecture roadmaps and reference architectures.
- Collaborate with business and IT leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and innovation opportunities relevant to domains.
- Govern architectural decisions to ensure consistency, reusability, and compliance.
- Enable knowledge sharing, mentoring, and capability building within the architecture community.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
10+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture , with exposure to multiple domains.Proven experience in defining and executing architecture strategies at domain or enterprise level.Deep understanding of business, data, application, and technology architectures .Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure) , microservices , API management , and integration frameworks .Strong leadership , strategic thinking , and cross-domain coordination capabilities.Excellent communication , stakeholder management , and influencing skills.Desirable Skills :
Experience driving architecture governance and technology modernization initiatives .Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns , DevOps , and service mesh architectures .Exposure to domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architectures (EDA) .Ability to assess and adopt emerging technologies to support innovation and transformation.
