Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, located in Kasaragod. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing vision care services, including performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing visual problems, and managing various eye conditions. The role involves prescribing corrective lenses, offering guidance on eye health practices, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, the Optometrist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing eye conditions, and measuring visual acuity.
• Skills in patient counseling, communication, and providing personalized care recommendations.
• Knowledge of prescribing corrective lenses and understanding lens options.
• Attention to detail, record-keeping, and report writing skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a clinical or healthcare team environment.
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and a valid optometrist license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Commitment to patient education and continuous professional development.
• Experience in a clinical setting or eye care practice is an advantage but not mandatory.
