Research Scientist - Electrochemistry

Job Accountability : We are actively looking for credible team members who would be primarily responsible for : 1. Testing of battery materials in Coin / Pouch cell configurations2. Benchmarking of properties / performance with expected standards3. Improvements to existing cell performances4. Setup / maintenance of battery performance lab

Development of Test protocols for battery grade materialsLiterature surveyAssembly of Li / Na ion cells (coin & pouch)Chemical characterizationPerformance Testing of cells (Electrochemical – charge / discharge, impedance, voltammetry, etc)Data interpretation. Timely feedback and reporting of results.Developing new Electrolyte formulationsPlanning and scheduling of tests and work up.Knowledge of expected / established productsUnderstanding of customer (or established) specifications and providing the materials / results for further applicationsDocumentation and periodical reviewsCompliance to IMS and GLP standards by maintaining records.Administrative capabilitySoft skills improvementKnowledge sharing meetingsKeeping track of consumables and placing orders in timeSafety & HousekeepingFollow proper safety, house-keeping and GLP practices at all times.Risk assessment of all activities in the lab

Educational Requirements : Candidates holding a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry / Inorganic Chemistry / Physical Chemistry or MSc. with experience of Li / Na ion batteries will be preferred.
