JOB DESCRIPTION : Data Visualization & Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist

About the Role :

We are seeking a Data Visualization & BI Specialist to transform complex data into actionable insights through compelling dashboards and reports. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop interactive visualizations, optimize BI solutions, and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Dashboard Development : Design and develop interactive, real-time dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
Data Storytelling : Translate complex datasets into clear, engaging, and impactful visual narratives for stakeholders.
BI & Reporting Solutions : Build scalable business intelligence solutions to track KPIs, trends, and business performance.
Data Integration & ETL : Work with data engineering teams to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms).
Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with business teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand requirements and optimize data visualization strategies.
Automation & Optimization : Enhance report automation, reduce manual efforts, and optimize query performance.
Ad-hoc Analysis : Conduct deep-dive analytics and exploratory data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelor's / Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

BI & Visualization Expertise : High Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools.

SQL & Data Manipulation : Strong experience in writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.

Data Modeling & ETL : Understanding of data pipelines, warehouse structures, and ETL processes.

Python / R (Optional) : Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics and automation is a plus.

Cloud & Big Data (Bonus) : Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Snowflake is an added advantage.

Business Acumen : Ability to interpret data trends and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
